Here you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are family. We are men, women, children, plumbers, electricians, businessmen and women, students, teachers, motorcycle riders, athletes, artists, young and old, but most of all we are family. We were created to be in relationship, not only with God, but with one another. When we gather and grow in our faith together, we experience life as God intended–in community. Spiritual transformation happens best when we join an authentic and caring group, centered on Scripture, where we can acknowledge our true brokenness and seek healing and transformation that can only come from God. The Bible’s vision of gospel-centered community shows disciples who grow spiritually and also make more disciples.
Join us for Adult Sunday School every Sunday morning beginning at 9:15am. We have two classes that meet in different Sunday School rooms and we do a variety of studies to include Books of the Bible and video series. We average around 30 dedicated people between both classes. We would love to add you!
We desire to see everyone “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Pet. 3:18), and we foster this kind of transformation through accessible learning environments designed to deepen people’s understanding of God’s story in Scripture and the essential beliefs of Christianity.
We are growing in our spiritual walk and our fellowship! We have started two small groups here at Prairie Chapel Methodist Church (Hope & Forgiven). We meet twice a month. We also have other fellowship events such as movie night. As a Global Methodist church we will continue to teach and promote a warm-hearted, Wesleyan expression of the Christian faith. This long-held commitment will be buttressed by a renewed emphasis on faith formation through catechesis and growing as disciples through small accountability groups. Intentional faith formation will help people see and know the beauty, joy, and transformation brought about by the faith they confess. And small accountability groups will help members build life-long, loving friendships where people pray together, share their joys and sorrows, confess their sins, and hold one another accountable to following Christ in their daily lives.
We offer a variety of Short-term Bible Studies; Advent Studies, Lent Studies, and other Biblical studies throughout the year. Please contact the church office if you are interested in connecting in Bible Studies and or a Small Group.
Our Bible Studies provide a continuous opportunity to learn the Bible in community. They walk line-by-line through entire books of the Bible from start to finish, video series and other studies with the goal of training you to comprehend, interpret, and apply the text in a way that yields transformation.
